American Fondouk
audio-visual documentary
In many parts of the world, animals like donkeys, mules, and horses play an essential role in the daily lives of people. In Morocco, these hardworking animals are the backbone of countless families, in urban and rural areas, where they are relied upon for transportation, carrying goods, and supporting agriculture. Without their strength and resilience, many communities would struggle to survive.
The American Fondouk understands this deep connection between working animals and the families who depend on them. As a nonprofit organization, it provides free veterinary care to these animals, ensuring they stay healthy and able to continue their important work. By focusing on both medical treatment and education on proper care and nutrition, the organization helps not only the animals but also the families who rely on them for their livelihoods.
This audio-visual documentation honors the vital work of the veterinary hospital American Fondouk in Fes (>> link to https://www.fondouk.org/)
