[EN] 2020. Festivals and cultural institutions have been frozen. The schools, what hurts the most, have been closed. For a long time children and young people remained at home, invisible, forgotten. Any proximity activity has become impossible. Contact has become impossible. Public space has become impassable. It is not necessary to add more, the experience is common.
“BLOOM & DOOM _ made for these times” was born from this impossibility, from the need for closeness, from the desire to enter domestic spaces, revealing an alternative to the media mainstream: an experiment that enters the homes of chosen ones, boys and girls, by the mail.
A secret direction whispered to everyone suggests exercises of attention, wonder and cooperation, to guide the chosen ones on a journey through the animal world and the plant world and, finally, to get in front of the Master, a model of adaptability, flexibility and strength in the total absence of centers of command: the tree.
[IT] Nel 2020 Festival e istituzioni culturali sono stati congelati. Le scuole, quello che fa più male, sono state chiuse. Per lungo tempo i bambini e i ragazzi sono rimasti in casa, invisibili, dimenticati. Ogni attività di prossimità è divenuta impossibile. Il contatto è divenuto impossibile. Lo spazio pubblico è divenuto incalpestabile. Non serve aggiungere altro, il vissuto è comune.
Da questa impossibilità, dalla necessità di vicinanza, dal desiderio di entrare negli spazi domestici lasciando intravedere una alternativa al mainstream mediatico, è nato “BLOOM & DOOM _ fatti per questi tempi”: un esperimento che entra nelle case di prescelti, ragazzi e ragazze, via posta.
Una regia segreta sussurrata ad ognuno suggerisce esercizi di attenzione, meraviglia e cooperazione, per guidare i prescelti in un viaggio attraverso il mondo animale e il mondo vegetale e infine giungere al cospetto del Maestro, modello di adattabilità, flessibilità e forza nella totale assenza di centri di comando: l’albero.
